The GCC invites dynamic teams of up to four members to showcase their business acumen by analyzing and presenting a compelling business case. This prestigious event is structured in two challenging rounds, designed to test and refine your analytical and presentation skills.

      

Timeline for GCC

Exciting Opportunity for All GCC Finalists!
  • All Finalists will get an opportunity to interview for the MSIS program with Prof.Bipin Prabhakar.
  • Important Information about the final round:
    • For participants in India (in-person): The final round would be in-person conducted at Indiana University's Gateway Office in Delhi.
    • For participants from the rest of the world (virtual): The final round would be vitual conducted on September 22nd in parallel to the in-person finals.
  • For the final round in India, your stay, meals, and local transportation will be fully covered by Kelley School of Business. Additionally, a fixed amount will be provided for your travel to the Delhi office.

*An amount worth $1000 in scholarship is granted to every finalist. Scholarship awards are given per person, while prize awards are given per team. Scholarship award subject to admission to the Kelley MSIS program. Awards does not imply admission to the program.

Frequently Asked Questions

The GCC includes two rounds. Round 1 begins on August 29, 2024, with a case release, and participants have until September 4, 2024, to submit their slide deck and video pitch. Finalists are announced on September 5, 2024. Round 2 starts on September 14, 2024, with a new case release for finalists who must submit a preliminary slide deck by September 20, 2024. The opening reception for the final round will be conducted on September 21, 2024, where they will receive a case twist and have 5 hours to revise their deck. The competition concludes with the finals and prize distribution on September 22, 2024.

Our selection criteria are based on the following:

  • A prominent case team of four undergraduate students or graduates with less than 2 YOE
  • Exposure to case-solving techniques
  • Innovation and out-of-the box thinking
  • Diverse teams with representation

All expenses in terms of participation and accomodation are covered by the Kelley School of Business. Fixed amount for travel expenses would be reimbursed to the finalists as well.
